Attention-hungry Lady Gaga wears bizarre hunchback dress as she emerges from carriage... and narrowly avoids a tumble

She would have had to fly off the ground to beat last night's perfume launch antics.
So whilst Lady Gaga couldn't quite match the live tattoo in front of fans and sleeping in a pod, she did arrive at Macy's department store in New York driven by horse and carriage.
The Bad Romance singer continued on her attention-hungry quest, wearing an utterly bizarre and impractical hunchback dress which appeared to be made of uncomfortable clingy latex.

Continuing with the usual theme, Gaga also wore a gold alien headdress that masked her eyes.

She struggled to walk on giant platform shoes that were decorated with little gold men clambering over her feet - a nod to the poster campaign for the perfume where miniature people walk on her.
Clearly excited by this afternoon's shenanigans, Gage tweeted: 'Macy's here we come!'
The eccentric star then mused over whether her carriage would provide a safe mode of transport, adding: 'I wonder if the horse is rehearsed? Princess high'.
Yesterday, Gaga created a huge buzz with an art-installation style production at her fragrance launch, which involved having a cherub tattooed on the back of her shaved head in front of fans.
It all took place while she was stripped down to little more than lingerie in the Big Apple's esteemed Solomon R Guggenheim Museum.

Her newly-shorn head, a tribute to the passing of friend Terry Richardson's mother, was inked with the head of an angel, wearing a crown, with wings.
Tattooist Mark Mahoney, who was aided by assistant Wes Brown, said of the new design: 'It's kind of a Renaissance era cherub, a nod to her Italian heritage.'
Mahoney admitted that completing the design in front of a crowd was 'a little distracting at first'.

He added to AFP: 'Once I got the pattern on, I realised it was just a perfect image for that place on the body. I knew it was going to be fine, just because it seemed to fit so perfectly right there.'
The tattooing was just one section of the 'live art installation' which marked Gaga's launch.
The singer arrived for the event in a large replica of her perfume bottle, wrapped in black fur stoles and apparently asleep on a day bed inside.

Partygoers were then invited to come up and put their hands inside a hole in the bottle to actually touch the singer, with a sign reading: 'Touch Lady Gaga's hand, but please don't wake her.'
Gaga's new fragrance, Fame, hit shelves this month.
It is said to smell like 'tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot, and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.'
