premiere of Goats in Los Angeles
Dakota made her film debut back in 1999, alongside half-sister Stella Banderas in Crazy in Alabama, where they played daughters to real-life mother Melanie.
She has since gone on to star in The Social Network, 21 Jump Street and The Five-Year Engagement.
While Dakota is still yet to strike gold and become a household name in her own right, the 22-year-old landed the leading lady role in new Fox show Ben And Kate - due to air in September.
Purple reign: Olga Segura wore a colourful

However despite her career being on the up, rising star Olga Segura threatened to steal Dakota's thunder, slipping her curves into a purple creation with an unusual sash and cutaway shoulders.
The Mexican actress is also expected to catapult up the A-list ladder with her upcoming role in The Mule, alongside Tinseltown royalty Billy Zane and Sharon Stone.
She tweeted: 'Happy to be back in LA for the world premiere of GOATS'.
The boys were also in attendance tonight, with the two leading men Graham Phillips and David Duchovny smiling for the cameras.

Goats follows teenager Ellis as he bids farewell to his hometown of Tucson and heads to an East Coast prep school.
As he leaves his new age mother behind and the only father-figure he's known, Goat Man, he heads off to meet his biological dad and his new family.
The quirky title, which sees Dakota as the love interest, also stars Orphan actress Vera Farmiga and David Duchovny, who play mother and stepfather to Graham's portrayal of Ellis.
