The 52-year-old rocker was immediately rushed to hospital for treatment following the bands aborted concert in Sydney, Australia.
He is now set to undergo surgery.

'He has been having problems for the last few days with kidney stones. He was treated at the hospital after the show.
'Vince is a warrior, who has played shows through a wide ranging list of injuries.
'If there is a way to safely perform, he always does. In nearly 20 years of managing Motley Crue, I can't recall a show the band has canceled.'

After the gig the glam metal band's bassist Nikki Sixx took to Twitter to explain to fans what happened, saying: 'Sorry Sydney for a short set tonight but Vince had to be rushed to the hospital for internal pain. Will update you on his progress.
And the group's guitarist Mick Mars also gave fans an update, saying: 'Sydney, my apologies for a short set this evening.
'Vince had an attack of kidney stones. He went straight from stage to the hospital.'
He has definitely proven in the past that he is not one to pull out of live shows lightly.

He tweeted a nauseating photo of his broken and swollen foot, and said it was the reason he gave a below par performance at the Blossom Music Center.
Apologizing for what he thought was a limited performance, Neil wrote: 'To my fans - Thnxs 4 ur support. I have 2 fractured bones.
'The show must go on!! I'm sorry I won't be able to give you the show you deserve!'
